Rarely will you have witnessed such mesmerising shades of whites and blues as those that the south of Menorca has to offer. Starting in the municipality of Es Castell, which is the first point in Spain to see the sunrise, the course is graced by some absolutely unbelievable landscapes that will make the 85km to Ciutadella much more bearable.
You face a particularly quick initial stretch before you reach the Camí de Cavalls in Cala Sant Esteva. As you leave behind the east of Menorca, you will be greeted by the Illa de l’Aire lighthouse in Punta Prima, which is enclosed by marble white sand and an unimaginable expanse of blue that will leave you spell bound. Biniancolla, the delightful fishing village of Binibeca, the cemetery of Cales Coves, Cala en Porter, Son Bou, Binigaus, Cala Mitjana, Macarella and Son Saura are among the most spectacular sites that you will discover during your challenge and you will be hard pressed not to be completely captivated by them.
In what remains of the course, following the idyllic route, there is a paved track which takes you to the west of the island, after passing the Cap d’Artrutx lighthouse. At this point, you will struggle over the final few kilometres that take you to Ciutadella and the Finisher Experience where you will freshen up, eat, drink and raise your glass because you will have become a fully fledged #LEGEND of Camí de Cavalls.
